Job Description - Electrical Maintenance Manager

The Lebanese affiliate of a global company that has the mission to improve living standards around the world by offering sustainable building solutions. The company employs more than 50,000 persons globally and around 200 people in Lebanon, between its head office and production plants in Northern Lebanon.  

The company is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Manager to join its plant team with the mission to ensure the plant equipment is operating at a high degree of reliability while meeting budgeted production volumes, quality targets and maintenance budgeted costs. The Electrical Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the electrical maintenance execution team for the assigned plant covering main production machines up to transport including auxiliaries, utilities, port facility, workshop and tools and including main power distribution, medium voltage, drives, instrumentation and plant automation. 

  The Electrical Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Strongly promote and enforce HSE directives.
• Coordinate Electrical execution maintenance activities and manage resources in order to reach required equipment availability at the lowest maintenance cost
• Ensure adherence to the community investment fund guidelines, contribute to company goals, and apply company policies and procedures.
• Optimize the internal processes, structures and ensure ISO compliance for maintenance related activities. 
• Monitor Maintenance system integrity and follow-up maintenance spending to ensure compliance with the budget.
• Ensure systematic & continuous problem solving, to increase the effectiveness of maintenance activities. 
• Develop his/her team ensuring competencies and skills development according to technical innovations, plant or personal needs and required certification programs. 
• Organize and priorities CAPEX and major projects. 
• Participate in the recommendation, selection, and awarding of jobs to contractors.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 
• 5-7 years of experience in heavy industries and maintenance management.
• High level of leadership, ownership and sense of accountability.
• Ability to lead change and innovation with preventive maintenance mindset.
• Equipment technology (VRM, BM, kiln, lubrication, gears & gearboxes, coolers, material transport & dedusting, etc…).
• Good knowledge of the application of maintenance systems using SAP.
• HSE practices and legal compliance relevant to maintenance.
• Project management.
• Sound knowledge of HARP and technical KPIs.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.
• Must be able to work in a Manufacturing Environment with exposure to dust, noise and varying temperatures. 
• Ability to work at heights and in confine spaces as needed.
